Well...
this is my new place. I'm not gonna put, ya know, a neon sign outside or anything, but I did want to make something very clear. I did not gone into hiding. And I am not on the run. In fact, I’m pretty sure my fan club already knows where I am so...come get me. Here I am.
Students, I have only been here a couple days and it already feels like home. And I have to tell you that this is the first time I have ever felt that in my life. I always thought there was, you know, something wrong with me. Growing up how I did, in that tower, with all that luxury, everything I wanted.
But now...now I know where all of that uneasiness came from, that longing to have something else. I was a prisoner. I was a prisoner and I didn’t know it - but I knew it. I didn’t belong there. This is where I belong. No room service, no down pillows or gold plated door knobs.
No Pinstripe, no Wayland, no rules.
Students, I am so excited to show you what I have planned. Just, ya know, imagine the Batcave designed by Tony Stark... just with a ton of dust and reality. This is a new chapter, in so many ways. And I’m having so much fun. And that is all I need right now... Well, except maybe for a few friends.
